The only ingredients you need are ice, lime juice, orange liqueur, cranberry juice, pineapple juice, and, you guessed it, "two shots of vodka."

Depends on multiple factors and circumstances. First, body weight and drinking habits. Then, have you eaten or is your stomach empty. That means your pyloric valve is open and absorption starts immediately when it reaches the small intestine. Did you give blood? That means the ethanol level increases quicker. How big is the shot glass? Standard is supposed to 1 but some are one and a quarter, some one and a half and some are two oz. Most vodka is 80 proof, so 40% ABV. Say the shots are 2 oz. So 2 is 4 oz. 4 oz of 40%ABV is 1.6 oz of pure ethanol in your bloodstream. Now if you weigh 225 like me, that's not too bad. If you weigh 100 lbs, you're blitzed. So you can see, there's a lot of things that weigh into intoxication.

Intoxication is the result of our body metabolizing ethanol into byproducts which are toxic to us, before finally metabolizing them further in order to reduce their overall toxicity. That's because metabolism is not a perfect system that is geared towards perfect results, but rather an evolutionary "machine" that has faulty elements to it, thereby going through steps to reduce toxicity which can in fact and often do increase toxicity, because those intermediary steps are necessary for that specific process to be completed.

Because of that, other products consumed at the same time can actually increase the degree of intoxication caused by the same amount of ethanol being consumed. This is called a "synergistic effect" and it's a property of various drugs which you are forewarned not to consume with alcohol. Other drugs lose potency when consumed with alcohol instead, which is what we call an "antagonistic effect."

Another matter that should be considered is your body mass. Toxicity is given in terms of substance to body mass, so the less you weigh, the more toxic the same substance will be to you.

Finally, factors such as a bad mental state or being exhausted also contribute. Generally speaking, the less "OK" you feel, the easier it is to get drunk.
